In May 2009 the club members visited the layout of Lynette and Ken (unfortunately Ken has passed away since that visit). The weather was perfect and there was a very large group of enthusiastic train spotters present.
Ken's railway consisted of one loop, all supported by tressels, on a bed of river stones and pebbles. Below are some photographs of the day. In the photos you can see a model of one of the Silver City Comet power cars scratch built by Ken on USA Trains motor blocks. Ken also scratch built the lift bridge seen in several of the photos
